UHMW rope is designed for high load applications where exceptionally low weight is required.
It has been manufactured as an excellent wire-replacement rope and is often used as wire replacement in the racing yacht industry.

Warning: Because this product is so strong we do not recommend you use it as a lanyard to be kept around the neck, just in case it gets caught on something.
