The Designer’s Mechanical Pencil.

The Wingback Mechanical Pencil has a bespoke mechanism that holds up to 2.4m of lead, it features a retractable a steel lead sleeve, which protects the graphite and eliminates nib wobble. It should keep you writing, sketching, drawing and designing as long as your creativity lasts.
Mechanism: Bespoke all-metal mechanism made in Iwaki, Japan.
Weight & Dimensions: 5g (0.18 oz), Ø7mm (1/4") diameter, 108mm (4.25") length
Mechanism: Fits 1.4m of 0.9mm, 2.4m of 0.7mm or 4.8m of 0.5mm diameter lead (40 refills)

Considerations: The all metal design will stand up to heavy use, but avoid dropping it on its tip with the sleeve extended.

Pencil mech 0.9

Great to be able to buy inner guts to change lead size makes item more versitile with out having buy complete new pencil items i have purchased from wingback so far have been great quality thou prices are expensive compared to run mill items u can buy elsewhere but on downside what i struggle with is trying ask questions on items before u but can wait 2 to 3 days for reply if u lucky by that time I’m out of buying as wingback lacks in communication lately and no phone line as small business which I’d say is down side for them and can imagine lose lot business

I do aim for 48 hour response time but during particularly busy periods that can be a bit longer. As a very small business it isn't quite the right time to add in a phone number but that will likely change as we grow.

Wingback Mechanical Pencil

Really pleased with this item and the easily interchangeable propelling mechanism, purchased separately, which allows me to switch between different lead widths. Hoping that a much broader guage, (e.g. 5.6 mm), may be available at some stage?

Versatile

The drawing pencil mechanism was easy to install. The pencil barrel shape and weight is so comfortable it is a real bonus to be able to use it both as a drafting and sketching tool. Well done!

Inter-changeable mechanisms

I have purchased several of the mechanical pencil mechanisms (0.9 the latest) & have found both the device itself & the pencil mechanisms of high quality and produce fine results.
